You hear a lot about The Ark. About the shamba, the new kitchen, the school fees. But who are the children behind all those projects, really?
We asked three of them to sit down with us. Not for a big interview — just a conversation. About who they are, what they enjoy, what they dream of. Three children, three stories.
This quote below comes from the letter of James and is not hanging framed on my wall. It lives inside me. It is one of those sentences you cannot read without it doing something to you — without asking yourself: am I actually doing this?
We are incredibly proud that all the children at The Ark attend school — from primary school right through to university. In doing so, we are investing not only in the child themselves, but in an entire community. To keep making this possible, we need you.
What does it mean to grow up at The Ark? Not in grand terms, but simply – in everyday life?
February was partly all about school. The team from The Ark visited the schools where the children study — not for a formal meeting, but simply to be there.
