Mwanzo handles data from visitors to our site with care. It is treated carefully and secured. Mwanzo complies with privacy legislation.

The Mwanzo Foundation and the children we help depend on donations from third parties. Mwanzo therefore handles the personal data we receive with care. This means, among other things, that we treat your personal data confidentially, that we have taken security measures to protect your personal data against loss, unauthorised access or theft, and that we will delete data when it is no longer needed for the work we do for the children.

Mwanzo does not sell personal data to third parties. We do not store your personal data longer than necessary. Some data is stored because it is required by financial and/or tax obligations.

You can unsubscribe from campaigns and newsletters.

If you have made a donation, we may use your address, email address or telephone number to inform you about our activities and plans. This may be done by post, email or telephone.

We are also obliged to be able to demonstrate how and when we obtained your data and that we have your consent to do so. For example, we receive personal data:

• When you make a donation to Mwanzo. Your name and account number will then be processed. This data is necessary for registering and processing your donation.
• If you are involved with Mwanzo in any way, your details will be known to our administration.
• We also process your telephone number, email address and name when you contact us by email or telephone, when you make a donation or when you subscribe to our newsletter.

Mwanzo must use cookies for the functionality of the website. A cookie is a simple small file that is stored on the hard drive of your computer. Mwanzo will only use functional cookies. These cookies do not contain any personal data and are only used to make the site easier to use.

How long do cookies remain on my computer, tablet or phone?

Functional cookies are deleted after you visit our website.
