Many children at The Ark have been through traumatic experiences. When they return to their families or communities, they carry that baggage with them. How do you ensure that their return is truly successful? With the resilience programme, we bring everyone involved together: social workers, school principals, village chiefs, parents and the children themselves. Together, we work on self-confidence, identity, life skills and future prospects — using proven international methods adapted to the Kenyan context. This programme runs from 2026 to 2027 and requires funding for workshops, materials and guidance. Will you support us?
