It’s lovely to be able to send you another newsletter. As you can see, we’re keeping busy at Mwanzo – and certainly at The Ark too!
In this newsletter, we’ll take you through everything that’s been happening recently. From a peek behind the scenes at The Ark to a personal interview with one of the children, and from a fresh new look for our newsletter to specific goals for 2026.
We’ve been working hard on the The website is renewed — and we're proud of it—and we’re keen to hear what you think of it.
Our annual figures for 2025 have now been finalised and are with a financial expert for review. Based on this, we also intend to apply for CBF accreditation this year. Curious to see how we’re doing? Take a look at our annual reports and read all about what we did and achieved in 2025.
We are incredibly proud that all the children at The Ark attend school—from primary school right through to university. In doing so, we are investing not only in the child themselves, but in an entire community. To keep making this possible, we need you. Become an ambassador for Mwanzo
In 2025, we had 27 one-off sponsors and 12 monthly donors. How wonderful would it be if, by the end of 2026, these numbers were 50 and 20 respectively? Then we can continue to help young people like Tom to pursue and complete their education. In 2025, we transferred €22,500 to The Ark — approximately 25% of the actual costs. Our goal for 2026: to increase this to 50%. Will you help us achieve this?
Have fun reading!
