Mwanzo uses your data to process donations. Furthermore, your data can be used to inform you about interesting news or promotions for Mwanzo.

We use extensive security procedures to protect the data we process, including to prevent unauthorized persons from gaining access to this data.

Mwanzo may use cookies. A cookie is a simple small file that is stored on the hard drive of the computer. Mwanzo will use functional cookies. These cookies do not contain any personal data and are only used to make the site easier to use.
PRIVACY STATEMENT MWANZO FOUNDATION
Mwanzo handles data from visitors to our site with care. These are handled and secured with care. Mwanzo adheres to privacy legislation. The Mwanzo Foundation, and the children we help, depend on donations from third parties. Mwanzo therefore handles the personal data we receive with care. This means, among other things, that we handle your personal data confidentially, that we have taken security measures to protect your personal data against loss, unauthorized access or theft, and that we will delete data if it is no longer necessary for the work we do for the children.
We are also obliged to demonstrate how and when we obtained your data and that we have your permission for this. For example, we receive personal data:
- When making a donation to Mwanzo. Your name and account number will then be processed. This information is necessary to register and process your donation.
- If you contribute to Mwanzo in any way, your details are known in our administration.
- We also process your telephone number, e-mail address and name if you contact us by e-mail or telephone, or if you make a donation or register for our newsletter.
We process personal data so that we:
- Be able to process and manage your donation.
- Being able to comply with (legal) financial and tax obligations in our administration.
- We can inform you as specifically as possible about our work and we can ask you for a new donation.
We do not use your data for purposes other than those mentioned above. Mwanzo does not sell personal data to third parties. We do not store your personal data longer than necessary. Some data is kept because it is necessary based on a financial and/or tax obligation. You can unsubscribe from campaigns and newsletters.
If you have made a donation, your address, email address or telephone number may be used by us so that we can inform you about our actions and plans. This can be done by post, email or telephone.

- Functional cookies; these are used to optimize the operation of our website. For example, they are used for the correct functioning of forms on our website.
